The Mission
The slogan of our NGO is “Sustainable Women Development” throughSkill development and upgradation training projects for empowerment. Empowerment of poor towards the main stream of national development cannot be achieved without providing skill development and upgradation trainings to the socially and economically disadvantaged sections of Minority Groups, Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes/tribes. We are also involved on sensitizing the youth women to Join in the process of national re-construction with secular and rational outlook as Conceived by Mahatma Gandhi.
Need for Vocational Training for women Empowerment
The new economic policy adopted by Govt. of India had left thousands of women involved in traditional crafts in dare poverty and unemployment in Kerala.
Many studies on women empowerment highlighted the need for vocational training to
Women develop or improve the skills of women of traditional economic activities. All the traditional economic activities require modernization of generating more income from such activities.
The main motto of our training projects is to provide consultancy to Self Help Group workers and other women entrepreneurs for sustainable income generating activities in Kerala. The activities include selection of product, location, machinery, layout, raw materials, product process, managerial and marketing consultancy and Training. Our trained volunteers visit the SHGs & entrepreneurs and render assistance at their premise.
Our NGO conducts motivation campaign and Entrepreneur Development (EDP) Training Projects to motivate and equip women youth to set up their own enterprise. We also conduct short term management development training
Projects to improve the managerial Justification of Training Projects
Through Kerala has achieved in remarkable progress in the quality of People, poverty persists in certain pockets and certain outlier groups. Land reforms, Basic minimum service and universal public distribution system with reasonable food Security, a wide net of social security schemes had benefited 38 Lakhs people and Remittance from emigrants have helped Kerala to achieve high level of Human Development and low level of human poverty. All the situation call for the need for a Panned programme of trade related training for Empowerment of poor women.
